The documentation needed to meet CE and RoHS compliance requirements while clearly addressing UV lamp handling safety protocols — a critical consideration in water treatment facility environments where errors carry serious consequences.

Design a professional manual with component diagrams, numbered procedural sequences, a four-tier warning hierarchy (Danger / Warning / Caution / Note), and a structured field service troubleshooting section.

The completed manual met CE and RoHS marking compliance requirements, delivered a professional brand-consistent documentation experience, and provided facility managers and water treatment installers with a clear, reliable operational and maintenance reference.
Our Approach
How We Did It

A full review of the UV sterilization system was conducted — mapping the complete installation path, operational modes, maintenance requirements, and UV lamp handling procedures against CE and RoHS compliance requirements.

Component diagrams were designed illustrating UV unit configurations, connection points, flow direction indicators, and inlet/outlet labelling — providing installers with a clear visual reference before beginning any installation steps.

Numbered procedural sequences were developed covering full installation, operating modes, routine maintenance schedules, and UV lamp and ballast replacement procedures — each sequence validated against OEM technical specifications.

A four-tier warning hierarchy (Danger / Warning / Caution / Note) was applied consistently throughout — distinguishing UV exposure hazards, electrical safety warnings, and operational cautions at every critical stage.

A structured troubleshooting section was developed for field service reference, covering flowdown diagnostics for the most common fault conditions encountered by professional installers and facility maintenance teams.
